The Bear Lodge: The Waterfront Lodge

Bear Lodge is a waterfront cabin built in 2013 and can accommodate up to 14 guests, making it a popular choice for extended families and groups visiting for biking, fishing, hunting, hiking, and quilting. Surrounding the lodge is a large deck that offers stunning views of Little Pine Creek and the beautiful natural setting of Pine Village. Additionally, a fire circle with ample firewood is provided for outdoor fires, depending on the duration of your stay.

Features

  • Satellite TV and Wi-Fi: Features available if you don’t want a full break from social media.
  • Living Room: Spacious area with a picturesque view of Little Pine Creek.
  • Kitchen: Fully equipped for cooking, refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, microwave, coffee pots, toaster, pots and pans, dishes, silverware, and cooking utensils. Garbage bags and dishwasher soap are also provided.
  • Bedrooms: Linens are provided for all beds, including sheets, blankets, and a comforter.
  • Other Toiletries: Guests need to bring their own towels and toiletries.

Booking (Minimum 3-Night Stay Required)

To make a reservation, click on “Book Now” complete all the required reservation information. You will receive an email confirmation from Pine Village. Please contact us at pinevillage@hotmail.com if you do not get a confirmation.
If you are bringing a dog(s), please remember to register it during the reservation process.

Rental Rates:

All rentals are subject to a 6% Pennsylvania Sales Tax and a 5% Lycoming County Lodging Tax. Please note there are no additional booking or cleaning fees.
Please note the following:
  • Daily Rate: Monday-Thursday: $425.00 per night for up to eight people. Friday-Sunday: $500.00 per night for up to eight people. $20 per person for groups of 9 or more. Children under 2 years old stay free when the group is over eight.
  • Weekly Rate: $2300.00 for up to 8 people. $100/person over 8.
  • Dogs: $20/per dog per night/ $100 weekly fee. Please register the dog on the registration form. See Frequently Asked Questions for Dog Policies.

Payment and Cancellations

Half of the rental is due at the time of booking, and the remaining balance is due upon check-in. The deposit and final payment can be made by credit card (Mastercard or Visa).  If you want to pay by check or Zelle, you must call Pine Village (570-753-5210) to make your reservation. A service fee will be charged on all credit card transactions. In the event of a cancellation, deposits will be refunded if the dates are rebooked; however, a 10% booking fee will be retained.
